Reverend Sarah Harris

Assistant Curate, The Parish of Central Swansea

Revd Sarah Harris is originally from Cornwall, but has lived in Swansea since 1985, when she began training as a nurse.  She worked in the NHS until 2016, when she was appointed as Community Mental Health Chaplain in Llandaff Diocese. After three years in this role, she started training at St Padarn’s, Cardiff, prior to Ordination to the Diaconate in June 2021.

She is from a nonconformist background, the daughter of a Methodist Lay Pastor and Local Preacher.

Sarah is passionate about connecting with people and communicating the Gospel in a relevant and accessible way.

Sarah is married to Jeremy, a cradle Anglican, who is well known in Swansea, through church, work, and Swansea City F.C. connections!  She has three adult offspring, Nia, Christian and Jackson.

She loves cooking for family and friends, and she has recently taken up dressmaking again after many years.
